The implementation activity can introduce change into a business process which can increase risk. This risk can be mitigated by the use of appropriate methodologies.
Defining the problem and specifying the solution
Formally defining the problem is the first step to a successful IT implementation. We at Kymaco have the expertise to produce robust formal requirements specification which define the customer's problem domain. To facilitate discussion and understanding of the problem, both from a customer and vendor point of view, we use a variety of industry standard tools and notations. It has been well documented that the earlier any discrepancies between a customers view of the problem domain and the vendor are resolved the higher the quality of the final IT product. We at Kymaco emphasis the defining and specification of correct and rigorous formal requirements and design specifications.
Structured project management
The use of a best practice project management methodology such as PRINCE 2 ensures a higher quality IT product or service. We believe that such techniques are of benefit to small to medium sized businesses.
